Seeing Ourselves in the Street

Seeing Ourselves In the Street is a three-day photography workshop in New York City, with internationally exhibited photographer Reuben Radding, placing an emphasis on cultivating our instincts to make photographs we can feel are truly our own, conveying energy and emotion. Participants will spend the weekend shooting all over New York City, and convene as a group each morning at Radding's Brooklyn studio to edit and evaluate the previous day's work. Participants should have their own digital camera and a way to process their photos for sharing. Students of all levels and experience are welcome, but participants should have a working understanding of the equipment they plan to use for the workshop. In order for everyone to receive abundant personal attention, the workshop will be limited to a maximum of six participants. Reuben Radding has been an instructor at the New York Institute of Photography since 2013, and has lectured or given workshops at New York University, the School of Creative and Performing Arts, and others. His work has been exhibited in galleries throughout North America, and has appeared in The NY Times, Washington Post, Rolling Stone, Time Out, Maxim, and others.
